GUWAHATI: On the occasion of Rongali Bihu, Guwahati’s Health City Hospital on Monday distributed traditional food items among the patients and attendants.
Popular Assamese singer Gitali Devi distributed the food packets as the guest of honour.
Medical Director Prof (Dr.) Bhabani P Chakravarty, Director, Medical Services Dr. Atanu Barthakur, Senior Consultant Dr. Bikash Choudhury and Facility Director Parag Jyoti Dutta were also present on the occasion.
“Due to COVID-19 situation, this year we are not celebrating Bohag Bihu in a grand way. But we have tried to give the Bihu vibes to the patients and their attendants by giving pithas and larus,” said Parag Jyoti Dutta.
