Guwahati: BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary predicted that the Bodoland People’s Front party(BPF) will win all the 40 constituencies and UPPL leader Promod Bodo will lose in the coming BTC elections. Hagrama Mohilary stated this at a public meeting in Jeng Reng Para in Baksa district of Assam.

The BPF chief said that the BTC election will be held before Durga Puja this year.

“Promod Bodo cannot win. He will be contesting from two constituencies and will lose from both,” said BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary. Mentioning UPPL and ABSU as the same, he said BPF needs peace, but ABSU wants war.

Hagarama said that people residing in the BTC area since February 10, 2003 will receive land rights (Patta). The BPF government will also develop temples, mosques, and churches under the Bodoland Darpan Scheme promised the BPF chief.
