Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again visit Assam and will address a mega election rally in Silchar on April 7. This was announced by BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav in Guwahati today (April 1).

Prime Minister Modi will be drumming up support for Dr Rajdeep Roy and Kripa Nath Malla, the BJP candidates of Silchar and Karimganj Lok Sabha constituencies.

“Prime Minister Modi will visit Assam again on April. He will be addressing a mega election rally in Silchar. The details of the meeting will be announced soon,” Madhav said.

Incidentally, the Prime Minister had visited Assam and Arunachal on Saturday (March 30). PM Modi had addressed three election rallies, one at Aalo in West Kameng district of Arunachal and two more at Moran and Gohpur in Assam.

While PM Modi campaigned for Dibrugarh and Jorhat BJP candidates Rameswar Teli and Topon Kumar Gogoi respectively in the rally at Polo Field in Moran, he asked people to support the candidature of Pallab Lochan Das and Pradan Baruah for the Tezpur and Lakhimpur seats respectively.
