Guwahati: Prime minister Narendra Modi and union home minister Amit Shah conveyed Bhogali Bihu greetings to the people of Assam on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, PM Modi wrote, “Magh Bihu greetings to you all. I pray that this festival enhances happiness and prosperity in everyone’s lives.”

Union Minister Amit Shah tweeted in Assamese and wished the people of Assam on the occasion Bhogali Bihu.
“মাঘ বিহু উপলক্ষে অসমৰ ভাতৃ-ভগ্নীসকলক মোৰ আন্তৰিক ওলগ জনালোঁ। এই পৱিত্ৰ উৎসৱে চৌদিশে সুখ-শান্তি আৰু সমৃদ্ধিৰ সঞ্চাৰ কৰক, তাকেই কামনা কৰিলোঁ।”
