GUWAHATI: Addressing the public meeting at Jerenga Pathar at Sivasagar, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal said PM Narendra Modi is the biggest well-wisher of Assam and its people.
“Prime Minister is the biggest well-wisher of Assam and its people. The development of Assam and the northeast region is due to his support,” Sonowal said.
The prime minister arrived in Assam today to distribute land pattas to over 1 lakh landless people.
On the other hand, Assam cabinet minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma thanked prime minister Modi for giving the region a new direction in terms of growth and inclusive development.
