Guwahati: Assam Excise, Forests and Environment and Fisheries Minister Parimal Suklabaidya on Wednesday paid tribute to former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who passed away on Monday evening after post-COVID-19 complications.
Taking to his Twitter Suklabaidya wrote, “Paid the last tributes to the mortal remains of former CM Shri Tarun Gogoi. His unparalleled & immense contributions & his visionary & firm ideologies will be remembered by the entire nation. Interacted with @GauravGogoiAsm& expressed my sincere condolences to them.”

Gogoi will be cremated in Guwahati on Thursday.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has declared a three-day State mourning from November 24.
