GUWAHATI: Oil India Limited handed over appointment letters to the next of kin of the two furefighters who had lost their lives in Baghjan oil well fire in Tinsukia district of Assam. The OIL officials handed over the appointment letters to Pranabjyoti Gohain, elder son of late Tikheswar Gohain and Purabi Gogoi, wife of late Durlabh Gogoi. Tikheswar Gohain and Durlabh Gogoi were killed in the line of duty in the Baghjan fire.
While Pranabjyoti Gohain has been appointed to field engineering department, Purabi Gogoi will work in employee relations department of Oil India Limited.
