GUWAHATI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday raided the residences, offices and other properties of former Manipur CM Okram Ibobi Singh in several places of Manipur, Aizawl and Gurgaon.
Ibobi Singh at present is the CLP leader of Congress in Manipur.
The CBI has registered a case against Ibobi Singh and five others from Manipur Development Society in this connection.
Ibobi allegedly misappropriated government funds to the tune of Rs. 180 crore during his tenure as the CM of Manipur. Singh was also the Chairman of Manipur Development Society.
Meanwhile, Ibobi Singh is in Delhi as the raids continue at his properties.
