A 02 days annual conference on Training and Operation was conducted by NDRF at 2nd Bn NDRF Kolkata (West Bengal).
The main objective of this conference is to plan and lay out a route map for effective and advance training of the NDRF personnel as well as how we can improve community awareness program which conduct for common men and students all over the country. Besides, introspection of the NDRF operation was also done by the think tank of the force under the chairmanship of DG NDRF.
During the conference IG NDRF, DIG Training, DIG Operation, all unit commandants and other officer were also present and shared their valuable inputs for taking NDRF forward. Every year NDRF conducts such annual conference at different NDRF battalion locations to fulfill the gaps with sole motto of taking the force to highest level.
During the conference Sh. Atul Karwal, IPS, Director General National Disaster Response Force said that training is an essential part of an organization for its growth. DG also focused on vulnerability mapping of the states which ultimately helps the force in equipped with more relevant equipment and better training. He also talked about reconsideration of organizational structure of the force and regular counseling of the rescuers.
DG NDRF shared important tips for enhancing physical fitness of NDRF rescuers. He also inaugurates shopping complex and other facilities at the newly constructed NDRF campus.
To make NDRF campuses ecofriendly, presentation on how to make plastic free and green campus was made by environmental experts Ms Ekta Gupta, consultant SDMC and Ms Mahima Surya.
NDRF contribution towards the nation. “National Disaster Response Force”, world single largest force dedicated to disaster response. NDRF has always led from the front, displayed high level of dedication & commitment, fulfilling our Motto “आपदा सेवा सदैव सर्वत्र” which implies sustained Disaster service render all circumstances.
Every year NDRF conducts such annual conference at different NDRF battalions for filling up the gaps and with sole motto of taking the force to highest level.
