GUWAHATI: Ahead of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls on April 4, president of now disbanded NDFB(S) B Saoraigwra joined Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) today in Chirang.
Saoraigwra, one of the signatories of the Bodo Peace Accord joined BPF at a meeting at Chirang district BPF office in the presence of minister Chandan Brahma.
After his joining, the former militant told media persons that all the cadres of NDFB(S) would follow his path.
“I have come means all the cadres will come. I will work for the betterment of the people,” said B Saoraigwra.
He also expressed confidence that BPF will sweep BTC elections.
