Guwahati: Assam’s Ankushita Boro wins the women’s welterweight gold after a win via RSC (Referee stops the contest) against Manipur’s Alena Thounaojam at 63-66 kg welterweight category in the 36th National Games held at Gujarat.
At the Mahatma Mandir on Wednesday, Ankushita set up an exciting Northeastern derby with Manipur’s Alena Thounaojam in a battle of supremacy for the 66kg welterweight category and clinched the gold medal.
