GUWAHATI: BJP MLA Shiladitya Dev has condemned Congress MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed for proposing to construct a Miya Muesum at Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
“I condemn his statement. This proposal is objectionable,” the BJP MLA said.
“I hope government will definitely take a stand. There should be action against them who make such proposals,” Shiladitya Dev added.
He stated that Miya Museum should be constructed outside the gate of Sankardeva Kalakshetra.
“The idols of the miscreants who had vandalised the Sankardeva Kalakshetra during anti-CAA movement should be kept there. People will identify the people who are trying to destroy Assam,” the BJP legislator said.
