GUWAHATI: Bijni sub-divisional administration along with three non-government organisations (NGO) and Bijni Municipal Board embarked on a mission to plant 10 thousand saplings in the town in lower Assam’s Chirang district.
The administration has undertaken the initiative with the collaboration of SSD Foundation, Jokers and Robin Hood Army.
As part of the programme, the massive plantation drive is going on in the town.
The NGOs have also come forward for the community mobilization of COVID-19 vaccination.
