PUBLISHED:

Guwahati: Kavya Chopra created history by becoming the first female candidate to secure 300 out of 300 marks in JEE Main.

Speaking to News Live Kavya said, “I had scored 99.97 percentile in JEE Main 2021 February attempt. But my target was to secure above 99.98 percentile, which was the reason for appearing in JEE Main March 2021. In the first attempt of JEE Main, I focused more on physics and chemistry, yet I scored less in chemistry. Hence, I had to put more effort into chemistry for the next 15 days for JEE March 2021.”

Kavya, who scored 300 in JEE Main March 2021, aims to pursue B-Tech from IIT Bombay. Kavya has been a bright student from the very beginning. She passed Class 10 with 97.6 percent marks.

While sharing her daily routine, Kavya says that she studies for  7-8 hours daily and dedicates equal time to all three subjects.

Brajesh Kumar Yadav, Center Head of Allen Career Institute Guwahati, said that from the classroom course 7 students have scored more than 99 percentile, 28 students have scored above  95 percentile and 47 students have scored above 90 percentile with Debraj Dey scoring 99.7535521 percentile and becoming the Assam state topper.

He further added, ” The most encouraging factor in this result is that a lot of our students have improved their percentile compared to the February attempt. We are extremely elated to announce that after delivering the Assam state topper in JEE(Main) 2021 February attempt for the B.E/B.Tech course, the Assam state topper for B.Arch is our 2-year classroom student Hrishikesh Deka. He secured the 99.9303792 percentile. In total, we have 11 students who secured 92 percentile and above. “

Brajesh Maheshwari, director of Allen Career Institute, said that ALLEN student Kavya Chopra has obtained 300 out of 300 marks along with scoring a 100 percentile. This is the first time in the JEE-Main Examination history that a female has scored full marks; Kavya has become the first female student to achieve the perfect score. Along with this, Kavya has also topped Delhi State. ALLEN Classroom students Mridul Agarwal scored 100 percent on the winning streak and got 300 out of 300 marks. Also, Zenith Malhotra and Rohit Kumar scored 100 percentile.

The JEE Main 2021 is being conducted four times this year; NTA will conduct the exam in two more sessions- April and May. Students have been given an option to appear in all the sessions or as many as they wish. NTA will consider the best of the four scores while preparing the final merit list in the first week of June.
