GUWAHATI: A man was shot dead in Diphu under Karbi Anglong district on Assam on Saturday.
The man, identified as Debajit Sinha was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Diphu-Dhansiri road. Deceased was a businessman.
Role of insurgent outfit – Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) has been suspected behind the incident. Police started investigation to unearth the further details.
