GUWAHATI, Oct, 15: The Election Commission of India today announced the poll dates for the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
While Maharashtra will vote in a single phase on November 20, Jharkhand will go to polls in two phases – on Nov 13 and Nov 20.
Counting of votes will take place on Nov 23.
The schedule for elections in these two states was announced by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar in New Delhi today.
