GUWAHATI: Kokrajhar Police in lower Assam arrested 8 accused in connection with the theft case at historic Mahamaya Temple at Bagaribari.
The police also recovered theft items of gold and silver from their possession.
“MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH in the under investigation Mahamaya Temple Theft case. 8(Eight) no’s accused persons arrested till time & considerable size of the theft items of Gold & Silver were also recovered,” Kokrajhar Police tweeted.
