GUWAHATI: Former All Assam Students’ Union(AASU) General Secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi has been appointed as the President of Assam Jatiya Parishad(AJP) on Thursday.
Gogoi joined the new regional party at its two-day political convention on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Jagadish Bhuyan has been appointed as the General Secretary of Assam Jatiya Parishad(AJP).
