GUWAHATI: Lt. Colonel Maynak Bora of Indian Army who hailed from Guwahati passed away at Bareilley on Saturday. The cause of his death has been suspected as heart attack. The officer was posted at a high altitude area in Drachula Sector on the Chinese border.
Maynak was the son of Colonel Biren Kumar Bora. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
His last rites will be performed in Guwahati.
