LPG shortage may hit Assam

Guwahati: With the challenges of COVID-19 and partial lockdown now Assam is likely to face a crisis on the supply of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Cylinders in the coming days due to an indefinite strike to be held from Wednesday.

This indefinite strike is called by the NORTHEAST PACKED TRANSPORTER ASSOCIATION against the appointment of people from other states by neglecting the indigenous people of the state.

North Guwahati, Mirza Horpara, Duliajan, Silchar, Gupamari, Dimapur, Bongaigaon and Chengmai plants will remain closed for an indefinite time from today onwards.
