Guwahati: Senior IAS officer Kumar Sanjay Krishna on Tuesday took charge as the chief secretary of Assam.
Krishna, a 1985 batch IAS officer, took over the charge from Alok Kumar in a brief ceremony held at the latter’s office chamber at Janata Bhawan in Dispur.
Krishna was earlier the additional chief secretary of Home and Political, Revenue and Disaster Management, Information and Public Relations, and Printing and Stationery Departments. (PTI)
