GUWAHATI: The vehicle of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary’s wife came under attack on Thursday evening.
Miscreants pelted stones at Seuli Mohilary’s Land Cruiser VXV8 car bearing registration number AS 16E-0009 when she was returning to Kokrajahr from Ultapani temple with her son.
Though all of them escaped unhurt, the front side of the vehicle was damaged in the attack.
According to the driver, a group of 10-15 miscreants attacked the car at around 5.30 PM PM on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Seuli Mohilary alleged All Bodo Students’ Union’s (ABSU) involvement in the attack. She alleged political conspiracy behind the attack.
On the other hand, inspector general of police in BTR Anurag Agarwala and Kokrajhar superintendent of police Rajen Singh reached the residence of BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary and ordered an investigation into the incident.
