GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident, miscreants vandalized the Jengkha Police out-post in the West Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Monday.
At least nine police officials were injured in the incident. Several Patrolling vehicles and furniture were also destroyed by the unidentified miscreants.
According to reports, the incident took place after Police detained a drunk youth for creating a nuisance in the area. Following the incident, a group of people attacked the Police Outpost. At least 9 on-duty Police officials were injured and they had to blank fire to control the situation.
