Guwahati: Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut just gave producer Karan Johar a piece of her mind after the filmmaker announced that he was dropping Kartik Aryan from his upcoming film Dostana 2 20 days after shooting had begun.
Following an announcement from Dharma Productions that said it would be maintaining a ‘dignified silence’ over the issue, the Queen actor took to social media to call out Johar and his intolerance for anyone who is an industry outsider.
“Kartik has come this far on his own, on his own he will continue to do so. Only request to papa Jo and his nepo gang club is please leave him alone like Shushant. Don’t go after him and force him to hang himself. Leave him alone you vultures, get lost chindi nepos…” she wrote.

Addressing Aryan, she then extended her support, reassuring him that despite any nasty rumours that are circulating, they were all with him.

Aaryan’s exit from Dostana 2 came as a shock to fans and industry insiders. It appeared that Johar had also decided to unfollow the star on Instagram and officially end matters.
Soon after the news broke, people began slamming Johar’s company and accused him of nepotism, allegations he has faced before. Fans also threatened to boycott Dostana 2, citing Rajput and how he was also cornered in the industry. The backlash grew so intense that Dharma Productions disabled the comment section on its Twitter account.
Dostana 2 is a sequel to the 2008 film starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.
