GUWAHATI: Senior journalist Anirban Bora who hailed from Assam died due to COVID-19 in New Delhi on Saturday. Bora worked as an illustrator for The Economic Times.
Another Delhi-based journalist — Kalyan Barooah who was the special correspondent of The Assam Tribune succumbed to COVID-19 at a private hospital in Gurugram. Barooah’s wife and Times of India journalist Nilakshi Bhattacharya passed away due to COVID-19 on Friday. They were both admitted to the hospital after they had tested positive.
