The makers of John Abraham-starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 announced on Sunday, September 26, that the film will hit theatres on November 26, 2021. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film also stars Divya Khosla Kumar in the lead role. The decision came after the Maharashtra government’s announcement to open theatres in the state from 22 October. The release dates of films such as Sooryavanshi, Ram Setu, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Laal Singh Chaddha, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and May Day have also been announced.
John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 was earlier supposed to clash with Salman Khan-starrer Radhe on May 13. However, the makers decided to postpone the film to a later date. Now, they have announced the new release date of Satyameva Jayate 2. The film will hit theatres on November 26 this year.
Announcing the news, the makers wrote, “Do Takke Ki Jaan lene 56 inch ka JIGARAA nahi, 56 inch ka HATHODA chaahiye! #SatyamevaJayate2 releasing on 26th November 2021 (sic).”

While the 2018 film, Satyameva Jayate, dealt with just corruption, the sequel aims to expand on myriad issues. From police and politicians to industrialists and a common man, the film will explore corruption in all spheres. Satyameva Jayate 2 revolves around the fight against injustice and misuse of power. It stars John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar, Rajeev Pillai, Anup Soni and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles.
Written and directed by Milap Zaveri, Satyameva Jayate 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar’s T-Series and Madhu Bhojwani, Monisha Advani, and Nikhil Advani’s Emmy Entertainment.
