GUWAHATI: Along with the nation, the citizens of Guwahati also clapped together to express their gratitude to the emergency workers in the fight against Coronavirus. The people of the city came out at 5 PM to clap and thank together to the people in the frontline in this war against Coronavirus.
Not only the clapping which ruled the air, many people blew conch, played mouth organ also. Some people standing at their door or balconies beat the metal plates or rang bells in solidarity with the health workers on frontline.
Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal also clapped for the health workers for their commendable jobs in the fight against Coronavirus.
“It’s a proud moment to see everyone as India’s #coronawarriors. The sights and sounds are amazing! It fills me up with new hope and enthusiasm,” CM Sonowal tweeted.
