Guwahati: India recorded 42,015 new coronavirus cases and 3,998 deaths in the last 24 hours ending at 8 am on Wednesday. With this, total cases have risen to 3,12,16,337. Nearly 37,000 recoveries were reported yesterday, as per the Union Health Ministry.
The daily positivity rate at 2.27 per cent, less than 3 per cent for 30 consecutive days.
A total of 418,480 people have died of the disease yet.
