Guwahati: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall over Assam and other northeastern states during 24th to 26th February.
A press release issued by the IMD on Wednesday (February 23) stated, “Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 24th & 26th February with thunderstorm & lightning activity over the region on 25th February, 2022.”
The IMD further stated that isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall very likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal & Sikkim with thunderstorm & lightning activity over the region on 24th & 25th February, 2022.
