Guwahati: Taking a dig at former chief minister Tarun Gogoi, Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he hasn’t ever backstabbed the veteran leader.
Addressing the media person Dr. Sarma said, “First of all I haven’t backstabbed Tarun Gogoi. Whenever I did something I did it on face. So there is no question of backstabbing him. Rather he and his son tried to backstab me but I have always been upfront about my decisions and have definitely fought with them fairly”.
“I have always fought bravely. That is why today I am the Minister and he is in the opposition ” said Dr. Sarma.
He further added that the election results will be in favour of BJP.
