GUWAHATI:”I am not a businessman like Pramod Boro,” said Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary on Sunday.
Attending Women’s Day programme organised by Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) at Kadamtol in Baksa, Mohilary said, “It was Pramod Boro who said that they were doing separate Bodoland state movement for the Bodo community. He asked people not to believe any political leader. But now he has joined a political party.”
“It will be very good if Pramod Boro contests election in my constituency. I will not campaign for one day and invest time in other 39 constituencies,” Mohilary added.
On the other hand, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary promised that women in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) would get all constitutional rights and opportunities for their welfare.
