HSLC results to be declared on Jul 30, HS on Jul 31

Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) will announce Matric or Class 10 results on July 30 at 11 am, whereas the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will declare HS Final year results on July 31 at 9 am.

The results of both the exams will be declared through designated websites, said the sources from SEBA and AHSEC. Both the examinations were canceled due to the Covid situation. The students have been assessed on the basis of a record-based marking system.

This time the HSLC/AHM candidates will not get the hard copy of the mark sheets on the day of the declaration of the results. However, the candidates will be able to check their marks online and they will have to wait a few days to get the hard copy of the mark sheet.

SEBA 10th Evaluation Criteria 

Under the alternative evaluation criteria for SEBA 10th Results 2021, a formula of 40:40:20 will be followed. This ratio refers to different weightage allotted to different aspects. To elaborate further, 40% weightage will be given to class 9 marks, 40% weightage will be given to class 10 internals and 20% weightage will be given to school-based internal assessment.  

AHSEC 12th Evaluation Criteria 

As pr the alternative evaluation criteria for AHSEC 12th Result 2021, a formula of 50:30:10:10 will be followed by the Board. In this 50% weightage will be given to average of best 3 subjects of class 10, 30% will be given to class 12 practicals, 10% will be given by schools, and remaining 10% will be given based on the 90%. 

These alternative evaluation criteria came into effect after a committee was set up. The committee for class 10 results was headed by the former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Dr. Alok Buragohain. And the committee for class 12 results was headed by Kumar Bhaskar Varma and Prof. Dipak Kumar Sharma.
