GUWAHATI: Assam education minister Dr Ranoj Pegu on Thursday said HSLC and HS examinations under the state boards would be held after July 15.
Talking to News Live in Hailakandi, Pegu said, “The COVID-19 situation has significantly improved. We have to conduct the exams after July 15.”
Pegu said he is hopeful of improvement of COVID-19 situation.
He also stated number of exam centres would be increased to ensure social distance among the candidates.
“There is no ‘Plan B’ if the positivity rate remains above 2 per cent. Then, we will not be able to conduct the exams,” the education minister added.
