GUWAHATI: Assam finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday met union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss the ailing state of Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited, Namrup.
“Glad she instantly cleared a Cabinet note for Rs 100 cr as immediate revival package. She also assured to discuss with Assam Govt on long-term measures,” Dr. Sarma tweeted after the meeting.
