GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed appointment letters for the posts of 40 cleaners on permanent basis at Sarusajai quarantine facility in Guwahati today. Distributing the appointment letters among the 40 candidates, minister Sarma asked them to work dedicatedly at the hour of COVID19 crisis.
On the other hand, minister Sarma inaugurated 215 single rooms for the people in quarantine. The single room contains attached bathroom and other amenities.
“We will be able to accommodate 791 people for quarantine at Sarusajai. Similar facilities will come up at Srirampur and Boxirhat within 14 days,” Dr. Sarma added.
