GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed appointment letters to 368 newly-recruited staff including assistant professors of six new colleges and science stream of 16 provincialised colleges in the state. The appointment letters were distributed at a function at PWD convention and training centre in Guwahati.
Along with Dr. Sarma, state minister for education Bhabesh Kalita was also present at the event.
“Big boost to Higher Education in #Assam
Six new colleges shall become functional this year, along with introduction of Science stream in 16 colleges. Towards this, pleased to have distributed appointment letters to 368 newly recruited staff in Guwahati today,” Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
