Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, celebrates three years of being the CM of the state by sharing a nostalgic and heartfelt flashback video, in X (formerly Twitter) on May 10 from his swearing-in ceremony three years ago. 

Expressing gratitude to the people of Assam for their unwavering support, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the state’s residents.

The video captures the pivotal moment when Sarma assumed the mantle of leadership, taking the oath to serve the people of Assam as their chief minister.

Taking to X CM Sarma wrote, “On this day in 2021, I was blessed by the people of Assam to serve them in a different capacity and I made a commitment to fulfill their aspirations. As my Govt completes 3 years today, I promise to keep working tirelessly to make Assam one of the Top 5 States of Bharat.”

He pledged to continue working tirelessly towards positioning Assam among the top five states in India, underscoring his government’s relentless pursuit of comprehensive development.

Since assuming office, CM Sarma’s administration has undertaken various initiatives and projects aimed at propelling Assam’s progress. From infrastructure development to boosting the state’s economy, the chief minister has been at the forefront, leading the charge towards a prosperous and inclusive Assam.
