GUWAHATI: After extensively visiting Kaziranga National Park and witnessing the hard work of the Forest Protection Force personnel, Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday has announced enhancement of their monthly ration allowance from existing Rs. 1200 to Rs. 2000.
“Yesterday I visited Kaziranga extensively. We have seen the hard work of our forest protection force. Along with their colleagues in the police, we will enhance their monthly ration allowance from existing Rs1200 to Rs 2000.We will also improve the living conditions of camps,” Sarma tweeted.
