Happy Birthday Amit Sadh: Lets check his journey from TV to Big Screen


Guwahati: Bollywood actor Amit Sadh turned 38 today. He is known for his performances in films like Kai Po Che, Gold, Sultan among others. As soon as the clock struck midnight wishes started to pour in from all corners.

It ain’t easy to make a mark in showbiz without blood relation or a godfather, but then there are few actors who have proved how pure dedication and hard work can open many doors that lead to glory. One such actor is Amit Sadh, who has been impressing one and all with his brilliant performances.

However, his journey into the filmy space was not a cakewalk. As before making it big in Bollywood with films like Kai Po CheSultanSarkar 3Gold and more, he had started his acting career by doing a TV serial titled Kyu Hota Hai Pyarrr (2002). 

Birthday boy Amit Sadh’s first-ever role was in KHHP in which he played the role of lead actor named Aditya. This particular daily soap was produced by actress Neena Gupta. In the show, he was starred opposite Ravi Bubber where the premise was a teenage college drama with twists. After that he was seen in a number of serials such as Saakshi, Guns and Roses, etc.

The Abhishek Kapoor directorial was released in 2013. Sadh portrays the character of a priest’s son in the film. Rajkummar Rao, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Amrita Puri were seen in crucial roles.


Sadh plays Kabir Sawant in the web series Breathe: Into the Shadows. The plot reloves around two men who can go to any extent to save the person they love. Actor Abhishek Bachchan is also part of the series.


Playing a parent who loses his kid was an extremely exhausting experience for Amit Sadh in Barot House. The Bugs Bhargava directorial released in 2019. Manjari Fadnnis, Aaryan Menghji and Alefia Kapadia were seen in crucial roles.


The film is jointly directed by Subhash Kapoor and Ishita Dave. Sad plays the role of Guddu in the film. Rangeela’s character is portrayed by Arshad Warsi. The movie also features Aditi Rao Hydari.
