Hajrat Ali from Dhubri is Assam’s 30th COVID19 patient

GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed a press meet in Guwahati on COVID19 crisis and lockdown situation in the state.

Here are the key points from minister Sarma’s press meet:

The 30th patient tested COVID19 patient at Barpeta Mwedical College.

The patient named Hajrat Ali, a 35-year old man from Dhubri.

Hajrat Ali returned to Guwahati on March 21 by Air Asia Flight.

He travelled to Dhubri from Guwahati by bus on March 21.

Hajrat visited Nizamuddin Markaz, but not as a part of Tablighi Jamaat.

He was in isolation since April 7.
