GUWAHATAI: “Hagrama Mohilary will be ousted from power in the upcoming BTC election. Because, in last 17 years he did nothing except misrule and corruption,” said NDFB (Progressive) leader Gobinda Basumatary.
Attending a felicitation programme at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district on Tuesday, Basumatary said, “Hagrama Mohilary is anxious. Because, on a single day we have done what he couldn’t do in last 17 years.”
On the other hand, former All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) leader Pramod Bodo said, “Permanent peace has come. Now our enemies are poverty, unemployment and lack of education. We have got NIT, central universities and organic university in BTR agreement. The face of Bodo Territorial Region (BTR) will change within 10 years if the government fulfills its commitment.”
