GUWAHATI: All the three COVID-19 patients detected in Guwahati on Sunday night have been shifted to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH). The two COVID-19 patients were shifted to the hospital from Sarusajai quarantine centre in the presence of Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Dr. Sarma informed that the two new patients had come from Mumbai and were under quarantine at Sarusajai. They worked in Mumbai as Uber drivers.
Another patient was also evacuated from a city hotel. He was in quarantine in the hotel after coming from Bihar.
Out of the three persons detected #COVID19 + 2 were transferred to MMCH from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre. During my regular review visit I was present at the Stadium and the evacuation was done in my presence.
