GUWAHATI: Miscreants snatched away a gold chain from a woman in Beltola area of Guwahati on Friday evening. The woman named Sarala Musahary lost her gold chain to the two bike-borne snatchers while she was returning home with her husband from a shop near Beltola Lakshmi Mandir. The incident took place at around 7.45 PM.
According to the victim, the price value of the gold chain is around Rs. 2 lakh. She has filed an FIR at the Basistha Police Station.
The woman also submitted a visual of one of the miscreants which was captured in a CCTV camera installed at a shop.
