GUWAHATI: Basistha police today arrested two mobile snatchers from Beharbari area of Guwahati after they were caught red handed by the local people. They were caught when they tried to snatch away a mobile phone from a person.
The snatchers have been identified as Rahim Ali and Mobarak Ali. Both of them are from Dhirenpara area of the city.
Police recovered a motorcycle and four mobile phones from their possession. Incidentally the seized Pulsar 220 bike was a stolen one. The duo was reportedly involved in many cases of theft in Guwahati for a long time.
