GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation will construct four new foot over-bridges in Guwahati city. The announcement was made by Guwahati Development Department Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya on Thursday in a program at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
Speaking on the program, Siddhartha Bhattacharya said that the over-bridges will be constructed at Rukminigaon, Bhangagarh, Bora Service, and Fancy Bazar area in Guwahati.
The Municipal Corporation will allocate funds for the construction of these foot over-bridges.
The GDD minister further said the foot over-bridges will help reduce the traffic congestion and will also provide safety to the pedestrians of the city.
