GUWAHATI: The vistors will not be allowed to visit Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden which is one of the popular tourists spots in Guwahati.
As a measure to contain Coronavirus, the authorities announced the closure of Guwahati Zoo (Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden). The shut down will be effective from tomorrow till March 29.
Meanwhile, the State Government also announced the immediate closure of all National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in Assam that will also be effective till March 29.
Earlier, the state government asked all the establishments including schools, colleges and universities to remain shut as a preventive measure to contain Coronavirus disease.
