GUWAHATI: An 80-year-old woman and her son succumbed to COVID-19 infection at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Wednesday. The woman named Bibharani Saha and her son Bishnupad Saha (50) hailed from Bilasipara in western Assam’s Dhubri district.
They died in the emergency COVID-19 ward of the hospital. The duo was admitted to the GMCH a week ago.
