GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Sarusajai quarantine centre in Guwahati at midnight. During his regular review visit Dr. Sarma met and interacted with the doctors and staff about the current COVID-19 situation in the State. He also deliberated on the condition of quarantine and testing facilities in Assam.
Dr. Sarma who has been leading the fight against COVID-19 in the State has also expressed his gratitude and respect to the frontline workers.
“I salute the continued dedication of doctors and staff in our fight against #COVID19,” he writes in a Tweet.
Minister Sarma was accompanied by his deputy in health and family welfare department Pijush Hazarika.
