GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday took his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
“I took the first dose of vaccine six weeks before (March 1). Today I have taken the second dose of Covishield,” said Sarma.
He stated that Assam government has arranged 100 per cent testing at airports and railway stations in the state.
“If we can test well at airports and railway stations, then COVID situation will remain under control,” he added.
