GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to take stock of the preventive measures taken at the airport against the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
Minister Sarma made inspection of the airport facilities including body scanners and expressed satisfaction over the precautionary measures taken to screen the passengers for Coronavirus.
He was accompanied by several senior officials of the state government and the airport.
Assam has put in place finest precautionary measures at the airport to screen passengers for #CoronaVirus. Along with officials, inspected the Guwahati Airport facilities including body scanners in place, today.
